II edition Mobbeel Innovation Challenge 2025

by | Events

Think of the great inventors throughout history. Those who dared to imagine, create, and develop. From Leonardo da Vinci to Ada Lovelace and Alan Turing. They all shared one thing: curiosity about the unknown.

Now think about yourself. Why could not you be the one to take the next step? The one with a brilliant idea that becomes a working prototype in just one day?

On 23 October 2025, you will have the perfect chance. The Mobbeel Innovation Challenge 2025 returns: our no-code hackathon, which last year brought together dozens of creative students eager to prove that innovation knows no boundaries.

This year, we want more. More ideas. More teams. More solutions that challenge the status quo. Because the next big breakthrough could be born here and it could be yours.

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an immersive event where students from technical backgrounds come together to bring an idea to life in record time. Unlike a lecture, here you apply what you know in a real-world environment, rewarding innovation, teamwork, and the ability to think differently.

If you are a university or vocational training student, the hackathon organised by Mobbeel together with FUNDECYT-PCTEX and the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) is your perfect testing ground. You do not need to be a programming expert. This is a no-code hackathon designed to enable anyone with a good idea to turn it into a prototype.

Why join the Mobbeel hackathon?

Academic learning is valuable, but today’s job market demands much more. Employers are looking for individuals who can apply their knowledge, collaborate effectively, and face real challenges. That’s exactly what our second edition offers: a hands-on experience that could make all the difference to your professional future.

In just one day, you will:

  • Collaborate with students from different fields, sharing perspectives and embracing diverse ideas.
  • Tackle real problems in biometrics and cybersecurity, two fast-growing areas with excellent career prospects.
  • Develop key soft skills such as communication, resilience, and time management, which are increasingly valued by employers.
  • Expand your network by connecting with industry professionals, mentors, and peers who could become vital to your career.

More than just a day outside the classroom, this hackathon is an investment in your future: a space to demonstrate your talent, learn without fear of mistakes, and leave your mark on a sector that needs young, ambitious, and creative minds.

Date & the stage

The Mobbeel Innovation Challenge 2025 will take place on 23 October at Garaje 2.0, Calle Santa Cristina, s/n, 10195 Cáceres. This space, located within the Aldealab centre, is designed to foster innovation, creativity, and collaborative work.

Participants will be welcomed on floor –1, where we will greet you warmly, answer any questions, and explain everything you need to enjoy the event from the very start.

Challenges in biometrics and cybersecurity

As a participant, you will experience first-hand the reality of Mobbeel’s work. That’s why the core of our event consists of two challenges focused on cybersecurity and biometric systems.

You and your team will be able to choose the challenge that best matches your interests:
