Mobbeel Innovation ChallengeIII edition Cáceres
Bring an AIdea. Leave with a prototype.
It may not have a name yet. Or a shape. We don't even know if it exists. All you need is a challenge, a team and 9 hours to see what you can make of it.

Countdown
What is this all about?
A full day of intensive teamwork to solve one of our three challenges in an innovative way. Developers, entrepreneurs, creatives or simply the curious, no coding required.
You and your team pick the challenge, develop your AIdea and turn it into a prototype with the tools and resources we give you during the day. At the end of the day, you defend it.
And this year, there is a new way to compete.
How it works
We start by explaining the three challenges and running a hands-on session to put the tools in your hands. Then you and your team decide which way to go, develop your AIdea and take it all the way to a prototype. Throughout the day, mentors move between tables to help you unblock whatever you need.
At the end, you present and defend what you have built.
For all levels
No coding needed. Come as a developer, entrepreneur, creative or simply as someone curious to try something new.
Goal
Create something that didn't exist yesterday.
Learn along the way, work as a team and discover how far an AIdea can go when you have a challenge, mentorship, the right tools and a few hours to build it.
Venue
Many great companies started in a garage. If Jobs and Wozniak pulled their little apple out of one, why not you?
See you at Garaje 2.0, opposite the Embarcadero building: Calle Santa Cristina 2, 10195, Cáceres. Bus line 8, stop 238 Santa Cristina.
Prizes
Three Amazon gift cards for the winning teams, rewarding the creativity, innovation and viability of the solution presented. The rules include the rubrics used to score each project.
How it went
Two editions in the same garage, with the garage getting smaller each time. Here are the photos.

Three challenges, pick one
Each challenge is broad territory, not a closed brief. Your team decides the angle, the use case and how far to take it. The problem is real, but how you tackle it is up to you.

The challenges are introduced and scoped at the start of the day, with examples and tools to get going. The questions are starting points: if you bring your own within the same territory, go for it.
Prizes
Giving it your all pays off. Beyond the glory, the three teams that most convince the jury take home €500, €350 and €150.
And this year there is more at stake. We are launching the Popular Innovation Award for the AIdea that gets the most support on MobbInvest, plus prizes for the three participants who invest in it best.
500 €
The strongest, best-defended proposal of the day.
350 €
By a whisker, almost always down to an execution detail.
150 €
For the idea the jury didn't see coming.
What if you could also invest in other AIdeas?
While the teams work on their projects, you can play investor. Participants and mentors will receive 100,000 Mobbcoins to invest in the AIdeas they consider most promising.
Two investment rounds
One during the day, when everything is still up in the air, and another after the final pitches, once you have seen what each team managed to build.
Popular Innovation Award
The project that attracts the most investment will win the Popular Innovation Award.
A prize for investors
The three participants who invest most in the winning project will receive a gift.
What you always ask us
How can I take part?
Once the form is open, you sign up from this page and get all the info to prepare. You can register alone or with a team: if you come solo, we help you form a group at the start of the event.
Can I invest in my own team?
No. You can invest in any AIdea except your own group's.
What if we don't finish the prototype?
That's fine. What matters is showing which problem you identified, how you chose to tackle it and how far you managed to take your AIdea.
Reasons to take part
- You can develop your project and take it further.
- You meet people who share your interests.
- You solve a real challenge, not a classroom exercise.
- You work as a team with a method that applies to everything.
- Companies are watching.
What should I bring?
A laptop or tablet with connectivity, since you'll be using digital tools all day. A notebook if you take notes by hand. Plus creativity and a willingness to collaborate.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Taking part is free: we want anyone to be able to come and learn, whatever their situation.
Do I need a team to take part?
No. If you already have a team, you sign up together. If not, you register alone and we help you find a group at the start of the event. We want everyone to end up in a team they can work well with.
Minimum and maximum team size?
Between 5 and 6 people. Enough to share the work and few enough that nobody just watches.
What about food, water and coffee?
We make sure you're fuelled for the whole day: coffee, juice, pastries and catering at lunch. You're in good hands 😉
How do I get to Garaje 2.0?
It's at Calle Santa Cristina, 10195 Aldea Moret, Cáceres. A former superphosphate warehouse restored as a space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Bus: line 8 (Cáceres El Viejo - Sierra de San Pedro), stop 238 Santa Cristina (Av. Constitución junction).
- Car: a few minutes from the centre, with parking next to the building.
- On foot or by bike: 20 to 30 minutes from the centre.
