Handwritten signature recognition is a widely accepted method to prove an individual identity, it is easy to use and has a high degree of acceptance by users. However it is not as reliable as iris recognition, but it does allow for greater versatility.

There are two different approaches for signature recognition: offline recognition, which is based on analysing the outcome of the signature, in other words, analysing an image statically; and online recognition, which is based on how the signature is made.

Like the iris recognition, the technology works perfectly isolated on a mobile device, making the capture, processing and identification independently.
