On June 15th 2011, Bankinter and Mobbeel jointly presented its groundbreaking broker application for smartphones. The applicationan identifies the user by using a biometric iris recognition system (developed by Mobbeel).
This unique technology allows clients to access their brokerage accounts on their smartphones through an iris recognition system which only requires the use of the smartphone’s camera, without needing additional hardware or external sensors.
