Mobbeel was invited to this year editions of TheEvnt y Xtrelan.

TheEvnt is a meeting point for entrepreneurs from all over Spain where they can learn and share experiences of the latest business and technological trends on the Internet. In its first edition it has combined “presentations + labs + round tables”. Mobbeel made a presentation about our expererience in entrepreneurship and a lab about Android.

Xtrelan is recognized as on the biggest electronic entertaiment event on-line in Spain. It’s an annual event that brings together hundreds of participants with their computers from all over the country. There’s a lot of differents activities related with computers and new technologies. Mobbeel has made an Android lab and has shown the advantages of this operating system.

We want to thank to the organizing committees for the opportunity they has given to us to share our experiences, and congrats them for the success of both events

The v0.4 version includes these changes:

A new version of BioWallet Signature Beta has been released to the Android Market.

This version includes some significant changes:

• Added importers from Keepass, OI SAfe, Secrets For Android and SplashID
• Added record "User/Pass".
• Added record "Application". It allows you to launch an application from BioWallet (copying the password stored automatically into clipboard).
• Added record "Contact". In case you want have a secret contact (you can call/mail him/her directly within the application)
• Now you can configure how many login attempts you want and the penalty associated if this number is reached.
• Bugs fixed from previous versions

If you’re an user of Keepass, OI Safe, Secrets For Android or SplashID you can test BioWallet easily. Just export your info in those apps and import it into BioWallet

We are very excited to announce that the current beta of the BioWallet Signature application has been launched to Android Market. Significant changes have been made to the signature recognition process. We hope you find it much more accurate.

This version includes some features that betatesters suggested us besides many fixed bugs.

With this tool you will be able to browse other user’s suggestions, comments, vote them or post your owns. To support the costs the free version, the app will show some ads. We are working on a “premium” version with extended functionalities. We still need your collaboration to know how much better (or not) it is the recognition process, so we would be grateful if you could answer the question that will be asked after each successful or failed authentication. Also, if you collaborate sending us these usage statistics (no personal information will be collected) you will avoid the advertising that is shown otherwise in some screens . You can change this behavior whenever you want with the “Settings > Usage statistics” option.

Mobbeel has been invited to pitch at TechCrunch Mobile 2010 at Barcelona, in February 17th during the Mobile World Congress. Also part of the team will attend to MWC for the first time for promoting our biometric recognition technology for mobile devices.

This event brings together some of the most innovative mobile startups in Europe with major investors in the sector. Our CEO, José Luis Huertas, will perform a 3 minute pitch about our technology and its possibilities.

Under the slogan of “Vision in Action”, the next Mobile World Congress will feature over 1,300 companies presenting products and technologies. In addition, it provides a meeting point between different companies in the mobile industry where the most innovative mobile solutions and initiatives worldwide.

In 2009, Mobile World Congress hosted 47,000 people in 182 countries. Over 50% of them were senior executives and 9,000 of them representing mobile network operators all over the world. In addition, more than 2,400 journalists attended the event representing more than 1,500 groups in 76 countries.

We are very excited to announce a new beta release of the BioWallet Signature application. Hopefully this one will be the last before an official launch in the Android Market.
