In 2008 an international jury, composed of representatives of mayor companies in the sector, selected our first BioWallet prototype out of more than 1800 apps as one of the finalists of the first ADC (Android Developer Challenge). BioWallet was the only security app selected.
In 2009, Mobbeel was selected from more than 350 projects as a finalist in the first edition of BBVA Open Talent. This contest was looking for new and innovative projects, and its main purpose was to help entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
In July 2009, Mobbeel attended the III Entrepreneurs Camp SeedRocket, and were the eventual winners. SeedRocket joined Mobbeel and helps us with their experience, know-how and contacts.
In November 2009, BioWallet was submitted to the NEEx's awards (Awards to the best business in Extremadura) where it was proclaimed winner in the category of "Best Business Idea" among more than 130 projects.
In May 2011, Mobbeel was presented with the regional Emprendedor XXI (Entrepreneur XXI) award (emprendesXXI category) to the company with the highest growth potential. This award is sponsored by La Caixa and co-funded by the Empresa Nacional de Innovación (National Company for Innovation) ENISA.
In June 2011, Mobbeel was awarded with the Extremadura Enterpreneur of the year Award for the Best Digital Initiative, awarded by El Periódico de Extremadura.
In February 2012, Mobbeel was awarded with the 'Navegantes de HOY' Award (Startup edition) in the category of 'Best mobile development'. This award was hosted by the digital newspaper 'Hoy.es' and sponsored by Telefonica.
In June 2012, Mobbeel was awarded with the 'VMA Innovation Contest 2012' Award for their advances in the voice recognition field among others.
In August 2012, Mobbeel was awarded with a prize of $10,000 in the 1st 'Emergent Authentication Challenge' for the most robust concept for a mobile authentication technology solution.
